Added some detail to the front reservoirs.
Added scale harnesses and also mounted my RX8 switch in the dash

Because race car

Drove it briefly this morning on some wet rocks out back and the rig really handles well. Besides the stock radio still being used making throttle control lack luster compared to my Futaba stuff, I was really pleased.

I really like the side panels running up the rear and coming to a point at the roof. Gives quite a true Ultra4 look. I take it there is not holes for screws up that high, so rear section is just sitting there

The production full side panels extend and wrap the rear comers that helps lock them in. There are no body mount screws in that area but there is the upper cage screw and also the shock tower screw which could be utilized and recommended for hard bashing or heavy racing situations. I don't want to add unescorted holes to those who do not wish to have them. They are easy to add with a 1/8" drill bit.

Was curious as we use 2025 for crush panels in our Cup cars as they take a lot more abuse from sand and debris on track and hold up so much better. I been stock piling the scraps from work to use for body panels

Installed a 1" VP Rigid light bar up front and did a custom roof and install of an Axial racing light housing. Stuffed it with Roland Rockshop's U4 light kit. Used the fuel cell to house wiring and battery, as well as a mount for the switch which is accessible below the spare tire so it's all hidden.

Front inner fenders are going to production.
Also made me a little battery/accessory plate up front to keep my small lipos from falling through.

I like the looks of the tahrs that you installed.

I look at the front end and wonder how one might go about hiding the servo. A bell crank system comes to mind, with the crank being on the axle ( ala wheelie king) and the servo up front, tucked away from sight.

I'm sure there will be a CMS kit offered. There is loads of room under the hood. That's the one thing I love most about this rig. Even with the large RX8, everything is hidden and was extremely easy to place. With the battery already moved and hidden well, there is ample room for CMS and servo winches under the hood, and plenty of room under the interior for large esc/motor, and 2 speed kits. And all hidden!!

I killed my 5645 before I went through one 1300mah pack yesterday but it was to be expected, just not so soon.
7954 is on the way and I also decided to take this time and install a Dinky RC s-link. This helps with weight placement and hides the servo a bit, especially after I add the custom drag link.

Also added some black brake rotors from Vanquish and some scale hubs from Locked UP RC.

Also time to look into some big bores as the stockers are already leaking which again is no surprise but unfortunate.

550 motor fits just fine

Being a Yeti trans I knew it could handle the power so I robbed my Yeti power plant and installed. I didn't change any of the wiring but I was able to still mount the esc down low and protected from debris.

How did you mount the Rx8? I am guessing that you had to put it where the servo for the 2 speed kit would sit being that the Rx8 is taller than the stock ESC. Really nice rig btw
