| painting RC4WD OEM Steel 1.9 Stock Beadlock Wheel
What is the easiest way to paint these? What do i use to paint them?

I used a wire wheel in the Dremel to take off any loose paint/dirt. Cleaned them with some denatured alcohol. Did one coat of Rustoleum Primer and then 3 light coats of Rustoleum Metallic. Obviously I didnt want them to rust. One suggestion would be to let them cure good before you start to assemble them. What color are you going for? |

see i am getting the unpainted set so i can paint them myself i will probably go with a matte black with red and blue pin stripe like the american racing 5 spoke

Do you have access to a lathe? If so that would make the pinstriping a hell of alot easier.

There were only black ones available locally, I wanted white so I just sprayed them with PS paint, no clear. Probably not the best choice but with around 20 hours of driving and me taking them apart and putting them back together 3 times they still look great. These pics were taken over the last two days, after a good 16 hrs of running the wheels. |
