|  Ottsix voodoo update
Sorry things are moving so slowly with the new tires  I have fielded 357 emails about their ETA, as well as inquires about pre-ordering. As many of you know, I'm NOT taking orders/money in advance of the official release, but I have put those drivers at the top of the list. As it stands right now, 85% of the first factory order is already spoken for and I'm expecting the rest to sell out very quickly...so if you want a set from the first factory order, keep an eye out for official release thread.

The factory is "running behind on their production schedule" and they're not giving me a time frame due to "unforeseen circumstances" which translates to labour disputes (which are 100X more common in China than here; it's a potent form of political speech for the Chinese) Quote:

Yes, $15 per tire. I've received more that a few complaints about the price. The fact is this: These tires are going to be made of an aerospace synthetic rubber which has been custom formulated for us. It's similar to the rubber compound used in other high end tires, but NOT exactly the same. If a 1:1 tire were made of this rubber it would cost several thousand dollars PER tire Quote:

Sounds fair to me!!! Technology always cost $$$ and if ya want the lastest and greatest you buck up!!! I myself have been waiting for these for quite awhile now!!! Hopefully I will be able to make the first batch and not have to wait mcuh longer!!!
