Default xr10 wheels wont come apart

i got my xr10 used already built, i want to change the tries,but the wheels wont pull apart. is there a trick to it? or am i just not trying hard enough?

They shouldn't be hard at all, maybe the previous owner did something to them.

It unscrews from one side then you slide the entire center inner wheel section from the outer section. Basicly it slides out.

i know that, but with all the screws out, the wheel wont split. i ran with Joe this weekend and he said he couldn't get the rear bead to stay on his new xr build. im thinking the rear section of the wheels might be glued in place so the rear would stay put while they put the front together
