| venting tires
like the title says what are you guys doing to vent the tires? in off road we drill the rims but since i'm new to this i thought i'd ask. how many holes and what size

When you say "venting" do you mean just allowing the tires to let in and out air between the tire and the wheel? If so, just a couple should be fine. That usually works for me.

I just glued up a new set of Moabs last night and I tried them before I vented them, way to stiff! So I drilled two small (3/32 maybe) and now they are perfect.

thats exactly what i meant. just letting the air out. i think i went a little big but i don't think it will matter much. we put 4 1/8" holes per wheel. thanks for the replies

Just be careful not to waterlog them, if they are glued.
