I'm looking for very positive offset 1.9(or even 1.55) wheels, hopefully beadlock. I know this topic has been covered many times in the past but.... ![]() ![]() Last edited by Sul; 04-03-2013 at 07:08 PM. Reason: Brain fart.. |

if you are looking for a more narrow track width you will want positive offset wheels.

0mm HPI shock car wheels are the most backspacing/+ offset out there. but they are plastic nonbeadlock wheels. ::HPI RACING:: or you could go to a comp beadlock wheel DLUX 2.2 AND 1.9 wheels Last edited by STANG KILLA SS; 04-03-2013 at 07:41 PM. |

Ok, so I figured out how I got the positive/ negative offset thing backwards in my head before I started this thread. I was looking at wheels on SDI's site right before posting this. They have their +1 offset wheels with deepest dish and their -5 wheels with the mounting surface closest to th outer bead. So their +1's pushing the tire out and their -5's pulling the tire in. I don't know maybe they are referring to back spacing as offset... And again if there are any other ideas out there I'm open ![]() |

They are not beadlocks.... But all touring car wheels are 1.9's.... They all run a very positive offset and a lot of them come in different offsets.... There are tons of t/c wheels out there in all types of flavors.

![]() typically touring car (and SDI) wheels are giving in they usually start at 0mm and go +3, +6, +9 etc. the larger the number the wider your track(in mm per side) and the deep dish the wheel. you would want the -5 for the narrowest track. dont forget about the clearance issues this may cause. links, shocks etc.

| ![]() Yes, I know they aren't bead lock but I'm trying to keep my options open. They do have a good look though. I might just be back to the old days of gluing tires.

So if I'm understanding what your saying; T/C wheels and in turn SDI wheels don't use standard offset measurents? It appears what they're using is more of a backspacing type measurement..? Thanks for the input.
