I find boiling them is the quickest and then I use acetone after with a toothbrush to clean off the residue. I have just let them Soak in acetone for 2 days before and they come apart perfectly with no residue left on the tire or rim but I'm always worried it will
damage the rim or tire. Though I've now done about 6 sets this way so far and no problems yet. Either method I find the foams are shot after.

The other night when i was real cold i broke the glue seal by hand and peeled the tyres off the rims, It took a bit of force but it didn't tear any of the tyres.

Wrap them with aluminum foil. Toss them in the oven and heat to 315F. As soon as it hits 315F turn the oven off, don't open the door and let it cool down to room temp (do this before bed and they'll be cool in the AM). Peel them off the wheels and clean off dried glue with any method you like.

F**k that! Boil them. It's a little safer than the oven, and easier. Makesure you have a set of new foams too. Boiling water + Foams= Bye bye.
