Default Rock Beast 2 on steelies (help)

Will the Pit Bull Rock Beast 2 with CI 6" foams mount up to a rc4wd steelie? I couldn't find any threads on this combo. Can anyone help me out before I pull the trigger and start ordering.

I asked that exact question in this forum when I was getting ready to buy mine. Yes they will fit. You will just have to trim the inner foams if you plan on weighting the wheels.

Be prepared to spend a lot of time mounting the PitBull's to the RC4WD wheels. I have a set of RC4WD Stamped Steel Black Wagon Wheels, 1.9", and a set of PitBull RockBeasts with Crawler Innovations Prototype 1 piece closed cell foams and it took me over 2 hours to get my 4 wheels and tires mounted. You just gave to work slow and deliberate.
Now with that being said. A good friend of mine had different 1.9 Stamped steel wheels from RC4WD and he mounted his RockBeasts with Crawler Innovations Prototype 1 piece closed cell foams in a considerably shorter time. RC4WD wheels are awesome but they don't have great constancy between production runs. His inner beadlocks were larger then mine, making it easier for him to mount his combo.
The best thing you can do if you ar going to mount RockBeasts to RC4WD Stamped Steel beedlock wheels is to get a set of the Crawler Innovations 1 piece closed cell foams. These foams work awesome, enhance the RockBeasts capabilities and and don't collapse or wear out like the stock foams do. Plus no trimming required.

i had a set of 1.9 and allways had issues with keeping the bead in with the pitbulls i gave up on the steelies and bought mayhem beadlocks.. imo not worth the hassle unless your willing to glue the tire to the wheel but thats stupid to do with a pitbull then you might end up tearing the tire when removing. rc4wd wheels are a pain...... sorry not to sound neg but that was my expierence

Thanks for the input. I'm am asking about the 2.2 Rock Beast 2 in particular. Where you guys mounting the older 1.9 Pit Bulls or the newer version with a reinforced sidewall? I have Baja Claws right now on my steelies and even being a rc4wd product they where still a pain to mount. I don't want to spend close to $100 and regret doing it.
