| Walker Evans Racing Wheels Question....
I just received a G6 Recon kit today as a early birthday gift from the wife. And now I am sitting here looking at the plastic non bead lock wheels, thinking about maybe painting them vs buying new wheels. What's your thoughts? Anyone have any pics of what they did to change up the looks?

Id say pick up some beadlocks . The axial ones can be had cheapish off ebay. I picked mine up 2 days after getting my honcho from my lhs during tbeir 20% off everything black friday sale. Best decision I made besides buying the truck itself lol. I also picked up some proline interco tsl sx tires. On a side note you could always get some plastidip and if you dont like it peel it off? |

i have thought of painting these wheels before myself, i don't think they would last long due to being scratched of by rocks.

Bead locks for sure, I painted my axial bead locks the silver ones, I scuffed them up pretty good with the red sponge type sand paper and painted then with testors model paint, I'll see if I can find pictures
