| RC4WD wheel extenders
has anyone tried the RC4WD 12 mm wheel extenders? I'm not sure why but I cannot tighten the bolts without the wheels locking up. I have tried using anywhere from one to all the washers supplied but still no luck. If you leave them "finger tight" , the wheels will turn but we all now the end result. If you tighten them any amount all 4 wheels will lock up. I have tried on SCX10's, TF2, Wraith and a Twin Hammers ( all with diff wheels ) and the result is the same. Any Ideas?

I haven't used these. But I've had wheels lock up when tightening. It could be the 12mm hex on the wheel that is the culprit. The stock hexes that come with an axial 1.9 are pretty narrow. The ones that come with a wraith are wider and have a little centering nub. I'd try to get some 12mm hexes for a 2.2 wheel and see if that resolves the issue. Dna |
