Has anybody narrowed the trailready 2.2 beadlocks? Can't seem to find any write ups.

Nobody? This is what I did. You are pretty much limited to about 3/8" narrower because of the wheel desighn.

Start with cutting down the front side. Just cut it down flush.

Then drill and tap the holes to 3mm all the way through the front because your going to need more material to grab the screw.

Then bolt it back together.

Then your going to want to mark and cut the center of the ring that holds the bead. Make sure you cut the center not the side.

Take it apart and take out the extra material.

And here's the difference. It isn't sugnificant but it was enough to clear my knuckle weights with 350 hubs.

Well, you answered your own question.

Was it worth all the work to get them 1/8" narrower?

It actually turned out to be 1/4" narrower. It was totally worth it to me because it only took me about a half hour and like I said they clear my weights now. I just need to find a way to get breather holes back in them.

Gotcha. I thought about narrowing a set I have but decided against after thinking about it. Lol.

Just vent the tires, if you are running a foam that can get wet.

They hold the bead really good if you make the center ring a little larger and I also drilled 4 3/16" holes for breathers.
