| Cleaning rc tires
I recently bought the 1.9 proline tsl super swampers cal and was wondering how to clean the dirt off of them and to get some stickiness back. Is there a way to do this with household items, if so any response would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

An alternative to Simple Green is "Purple Power". That stuff melts the dirt away and leaves very sticky tires.

I can maybe see this for comp tires... but scale tires... Really? Don't you drive them in the dirt too? All my scaler tires work just fine even when they are dirty.. Including 2 sets of tsl-sx.

I may try the Purple Power stuff since there is some in my garage. In the winter I just drive it around in the snow

+whatever on the simple green. For comp tires that don't get very dirty use a toothbrush to scrub them with simple green and let them drip dry in the sink or outside. For muddy scale tires clean the mud off with soap and water then treat them like the comp tires. Don't wash the simple green off. |
