I have been running pro line titus headlocks and i keep running the tires of the wheels. what would be the best bang for my buck i priced out the slw vanquish with hubs and rims I'm at 150. is there anything else out there that would be cheaper but still do the job? thanks |

Crawler innovations 6 bolt glue ons will hold your tires and are the cheapest option out there.

saw some delrin beadlocks being offered by rc4wd at a decent price Rocker 2.2 Lightweight Competition Beadlock Wheels also check out the dlux wheels, they look pretty good. another option is to look in the rcc classifieds. there are some good deals to be found there. |

I went with the glue option myself. You can always bake the tire off. I know its a bit of a pain but its most cost effective at $25 for a set of wheels plus slw hubs. I wanted to use a beadlock wheel myself but most are heavy and the lite ones are a minimum $150. Carterfab does a nice delrin method glue up wheel.

i use either a thin or medium tire-specific ca glue on my wheels. youtube some tire gluing videos before you take it on, its relatively easy but you dont wanna bork it up. my advice is to really really clean your wheels and tires before gluing to get rid of all the mold releasing agents and stuff that keeps the glue from sticking. |

The V3's have held up well for me. Then again, there is a good bit more spoke to them.. 4s powered 3500kv HD in the Sexo And 4s powered 3000kv HD in the Yeti | |

| Re: best u4rc beadlocks well maby ill try those then just havent had any luck with them but you are right they do have quite a bit more spoke to them, honestly the v5's i wasnt suprised seeing as how the spoke is flat and not very thick. and im not nessisarily breaking them they still work they just wobble something awful,

I used Losi tire glue for a couple buggy sets just before Xmas, that glue is outstanding compared to others I've used in the past. I pretty much always use standard, some manufacturers thin, can be very difficult to work with. Another trick for removing tires from glued wheels, put them in the freezer for a day or two, when you remove them, push the bead with your thumb around the wheel, and it usually just cracks free. I had a set of HPI wheels and tires years ago where this method did not work, I had to use heat for them.
