Wooly boogers? lol... They almost resemble a cut and siped BFG AT/TA. They're almost as tall as Growlers from the specs and the tread looks pretty close together. Jconcepts makes pretty decent tires though. I like my 1/8th scale crosshairs. Nice to see more 1.9 options out there!

damn, was kinda hoping for a smaller C2 or C1 tire, especially with that rather non aggressive tread pattern on the Scorpios

Both look ugly. I wouldn't buy them.

More 1.9 tires of any kind are good in my book! Curious about the wheels on the Blazer as well. |

curious to try those scorpios, almost a pin tire. sidewall lugs could have been a bit more creative and scale. but the lugs looks good enough to be called a scale tire to me. after fighting the PL XL beads last night, these may get the nod to replace them |

JConcepts makes great racer rc stuff so this being there 1st step into the scale crawling is probably a good thing.. They make alot of bodys and stuff also too so maybe we can get something cool from them ..but they have work to do because these tires will not be on my list ...they probably see all the profits to be made and hell if proline can do it why not them...

Yeah it's nice to see them jump into the scale market but I'll wait to see if they come out with something that fits my taste.

I had their Barcodes on my short course truck and they stuck like glue on a clay track. Wore well too. I do a lot of dry rock (granite, sandstone) and these look like they'd work well there.

Nice to see some options for the 1.9 market. Wonder how that green compound will hold up against the current options.

I'm guessing the CI 4.75 foams would be the best bet foams

One great thing about Jconcepts is that they support the community a TON. They are always sponsoring events and getting involved as much as they can. So if they are getting into scale/crawling, that is a great company to have on board. That being said, these 2 new tires are a "swing and a miss" in my opinion. Gotta start somewhere I suppose. |
