WARNING: VTR41003 are NOT 1.9 rims

I recently purchased three sets of Vaterra 1.9 wheels #VTR41003.
These are from the Vaterra Slickrock.

They are much closer to a 1.7" wheel & WILL NOT properly seat any 1.9 tire.

The Losi, Axial, RC4WD or any other listed 1.9 tire nearly falls off of these.

I'm currently in the process of getting my money back or the proper rim from Horizon Hobbies, but so far they have not been cooperative.
At this point I don't think they are truly aware of this problem & have even recommended these rims for a 1.9 application.

Apparently if you need "real" customer support you have to call Monday through Friday, and they do not review their service request forms.

Thanks, yes their bead on all their tires is not the same as most other tire manufacturers...stupid of Vaterra (Horizon Hobby) and one more reason I don't buy their crap.

Oh yeah, their service sucks! More like customer non-service. Good luck and don't take no for an answer.
