| ARRMA SENTON WHEEL HEX's
Merry Christmas everyone. I have a question and I don't know where else to ask, so I figured I'd try my luck here?? I have an Arrma Senton, and I know it's not a crawler. My issue is this. The DBoots wheels and tires and crap! They truck has 17mm wheel hex's stock from Arrma. My choice of wheels is pretty narrow for a choice of selection and I was wondering is there is such a thing as 17mm to a 12mm hex reducer or conversion kits? If so. Where might I find this. I'm probably wording it wrong and having n luck. Maybe I just need to replace the whhel hex with 12mm's? I don't know cause I'm still pretty new to the whole RC scene. Thanks in advance for anyone's help. Happy New Year to one and all!! mattman from the LowCountry.......

17mm is a pretty standard hex size for 3.8 wheels. Lots of choices out there, 1/8 scale buggy stuff.

I know with my HPI savage the only time i messed up a hex it was a result from the wheel nit not being tight. Lock tite the nuts at night and the next day you will be good to go. Hpi used 14mm a long time ago on the savage25

I'm pretty sure you can get proline trenches premounts in 17 mm

DE Racing makes some nice SC wheels for 17mm hexes then you can add whatever short course tires you like. The easier way is buy whatever premounted 1/8 buggy tires meet your needs but they don't look as good as proper SC tires.

I can't speak about the senton specifically but generally you just change the wheel hexes to whatever size you need.

If you want to run 12mm hex's to open up 1/10 short course wheels, use these 12mm Hex for RC4WD Extreme Duty XVD for Clodbuster Axle. They are for an 8mm shaft. I am not sure what shaft size the Senton is but if it's running 17mm due to the 6S capability, 8mm is fairly standard but i would check to make sure.
