Default glue drying

Ok, I just got my first Clod wheel narrowed per the directions on UTRCTC. Now, it says to apply a bead of CA around the inner and outer seems. This I did.

So how long does CA take to dry? I know that when my fingers touch together it only takes a few seconds. But how long when exposed to air.

a long time. some ca. wont cure when in open air. i use a cigg. to speed up the cure process. blow air into the filter end while smoking the cigg. aim the stream of smoke at the glue.the lack of oxy. will make the glue dry so fast you can watch it. to cheep to buy accel. cuts into my smoking money. hope this helps

Zip-Kicker, or some other brand of accelerator.

I just let them set over night. Got pretty hard that way, and now days later it darn well better be completely set. The tires haven't popped them apart yet, so I must be good.

By the way, I narrowed the stock wheels 3cm off the inside bead. No clearance probs now.
