| Axial trail ready IFD beadlocks
I was wondering what the Axial trail ready IFD beadlocks are like? I have the Evan Walker IFD beadlocks from a Yeti and they seem fine with Proline 2.2 Swampers (they hold the bead well with brushless 3S). Are the cheaper trail ready versions the same in regards to plastic thickness, quality etc and the price difference is simply because Axial don't have to pay licensing fees...or...are they the cheapo versions to be avoided? |

They are licensed: Home | TR Beadlock Wheels Other than the style, they are a comparable wheel using the same beadlock system and plastics. "Officially licensed Trail Ready HD Series beadlock wheels dressed in an aggressive all black style are easy to assemble and they work with most 2.2 tires. The hub design allows this wheel to mount to any Wraith, AX10 Ridgecrest or SCX10. Our IFD™ (Interchangeable Face Design) wheel system makes it easy to dress it up with a new look." |
