| Proline Titus 2.2 problem
Bought a set of Titus wheels front and rear on my stock motored Bomber. First battery through them and the hexs are rounding out on all four rims . Any suggestions? Wheel nuts were/are tight and I used the included washers between the rims and locknuts. Wasnt even wheeling it hard. I was just playin in a creekbed. Guess I will be spending the money 💰 on aluminum wheels. Damn.

2.2 Titus wheels are meant to be used with flat faced hexes. If you are using the stock bomber "stepped" hexes, they will not engage all the way and eventually strip.

Interesting, I ran a few packs in my wraith with the titus and the stepped hexes without issues. Then my faultlines came in and the titus went to my SCX. I just took a look and I totally see that they only engage about halfway. Picking up axial part#AX30427 would take care of it and it's a lot cheaper than aluminum rims. |
