Default Gmade MT1904

Can anyone give me any background info on this tire? Hard and sucks or what? The tread looks pretty cool.

I’ve got some 1903 tires and they’re sticky.

I really like my 1901's. Maybe not a comp compound, but they are grippy enough and very predictable on the rocks. I would assume these are the same compound.

I wondered about these myself, although they are on the large size.

The way they described the compound made it sound new (softer?) Than before... but does anyone actually run them?

Only reason I haven't is since they are so large - got plenty of tires in that size. Tread looks perfect for PA woods.

I've got MT1903 from my Sawback 4LS. They were ok. The Boom Racing Hustlers outperformed those.

The MT1904 did catch my eye though. I like the way it looks, but not sure which rig I would put it on, or how it would perform.

Nice, please update once you've got them. I have a set of Duratrax Deep Woods on my Sawback right now, but really like the look of these (and the price through RCMart) - and would get them in an instant if they turn out to be soft and reasonably sticky.

So, I got the tires not quite a week ago and I have to say I do like them. I have them mounted on my boys DNR firetuck with 4.5” soft double deuces with 8mm wide hexes. Haven’t run them, to much going on with holidays and we don’t do much trailing in the snow. That means anything I do with them right now I won’t have much to compare it to. I can say that the pliability and stickiness is comparable to rc4wd x2ss compound. The corners of the sidewalls seem stiff, but that’d be due to the carcass reinforcement seen in the one pic. I bought a 2nd set of these for my rig also. I really like the look and am hoping they hook up well as they will replace my Hyraxs. We just do woods trail runs anyways with mostly dirt floor and limited rock. If I make that trade, I will grind off the sidewall reinforcement for more flex. Name: IMG_1781.jpg

Look good. I think I'll grab a set once RC Mart restocks.

I really feel that the sidewall reinforcement needs shaved off. The tire should be much more pliable then...maybe anyways lol. I know there’s lots of good reviews on the Duratrax tires, but I can’t get past the look. I do not find them visually appealing.

Ok, so we finally got out and tried these out. I did nothing to the tires as far as grinding off the sidewall reinforcement like I had mentioned above. My Nuke and my boys Firetruck trucks are identical in every way with the exception of different wheels, my front and rear shock spring rates are both one step softer than his, I run Hyrax XL and he runs Gmade 1904. We both use 4.5” soft lil novas. My cousins white Jeep has Rc4wd Boggers uncut with deuces wild.

It was sticky muddy the day we went out. None of us fared well at not having caked tires. So, I really have nothing to report yet. I feel as though the mud was sticky enough that it gave all of us a bit of extra grip at all times. The Firetruck did make it over a few log crawls that myself and my cousin struggled on though.

I thought so. The flame job looks good. I had almost gotten one a year ago but couldn’t think of a paint scheme to pull it off. I was considering one like the tan volunteer fire trucks in our area.

My boy loves fire trucks and the ones around Nebraska and Colorado are this terrible color blue green so I had to come up with the flames to offset the rest

So I am very impressed with these tires for dirt and clay woods trailing. At this time, I have removed my Hyraxs and replaced them with these 1904
