Cheap 2.2 wheels for trx-4 ebay

Hello everyone, i am a newb to the sport. Have had my bronco for about a month now.

I want to add some 2.2 mud slingers to my truck for running around here in the mud.

I was wondering if somebody knew a really cheap set of wheels on ebay that they would suggest.

Do i really need beadlocks? Or get ones i can glue in, ive been reading for about a month about rc crawlers with tons more to learn.

I will be running RC4wd 2.2 mudslingers which i can get hear locally, just need to find some cheap wheels as the budget is low at the moment with the inital cost of the trx4.

Beadlocks are nice, but if you don't have the money regular glued are fine.

Rpm wheels should be a pretty good place to start.

Ok what makes the beadlocks better then glue in , when once the tire is glued it aint going anywhere anyways? Or is it to make it "look" better?

Beadlocks are generally better for looks yes, but it does make it easier later, if you want to change tires/wheels.

Order beadlocks dont waster ur money on glue on rims. Look beadlock metal wheels theres the hubs to get better offset and the beef patties if yea wanna add some crazy weight down low. One of your best investment other then motor and esc are wheels and tires

Thanks , there is also brass ones on ebay that help push the wheel out 3mm on each side, those ones be good too?

The ones i showed u actually mount in between the hub and the rim. Problem having all the weight is it causes tons of stress on cvds, diffs, driveshafts, trans you have to really debate if all that stress is really worthit

Yes i was wondering the same thing with all of the brass add ons you can mount to the under carriage.

Its fine aslong as theyre not adding rotational mass if that makes sense

Better to use brass axle weight for inside the housing and brass chubs and knuckles maybe i know the axles weights r good but dont know how good the knucle and hubs r.

100% add the BRASS weights! This rig rides night and day different. Climbs steeper grades and steeper grades with a looser surface(gravel,Sandy etc) she will climb! And don't forget get the rear too. Riding sideways on a incline it will hold that bank on a creep speed or when going downhill. The weight forces your tires to bite down more when you need. Traxxas made this right and the added weight doesn't hurt preformance. Get the grown man servo for the added weight, upgrade the knuckle and steering arm. I haven't done this on my sport but, surprisingly it does.......ok. Not as responsive or quick but, I would do weights as first upgrade.

Thanks i have been looking at all of the brass on ebay theres so many to choose from, here locally you wont find any aftermarket parts at all.
