Cheap Chinese beadlock problems

Well, the title probably says it all, but Newbie user error is not unlikely.

I got the wheels on amazon (of course), good Px, seen them on similar rig as I am building ( Axial 10.2 Cherokee), but no joy mounting.

I can see how they should work and I also can understand the lock ring type of beadlock and how it works. it just looks to me as though this type of wheel is not as secure. is this a fair statement ?

I have checked the several "easy beadlock mounting" threads but no success yet.

I can see two possible basic problems here : Foam volume and the type of bead locking and where the locking pressure ( the bolts) is applied.

What I don't understand is whether or not the foam width (along the axel) plays a role. The OEM tire/foam (All-Terrain T/A) combination is quite a bit wider then the wheels when mated solidly. the tire bead just creeps out of the lock ONLY on the outer rim side. The outer rim does not have a nice square bite between the rim and the inner ring like the inner rim. Is it possible to have too much foam for this type of wheel to work properly ?

Perhaps it's the same issue some have had with RC4WD beadlocks with some tires like proline? I believe the fix in that case was a wider center ring.

Otherwise if it's just not easy to mount I've seen some use one longer screw to start the beadlock, work thr way around, then replace the 1 long screw with a standard screw.

Never having seen anything like this before , it was the center ring that struck me as the way to deal with it. using a hub centered squeezer of some type may work but to me it would have to be incredibly even pressure at the rim edge to work in this case.

are center rings something that are available separately ??

I glue my tires to the center ring and let it dry then i mount them ultra black rtv works realy good i also use e6000 in black depending what i have i have used super glue too just to make sure i keep the bead in place while mounting th3 tire the super glue dosent eeem to hold long term though you might try a little bit of glue on the outer beads also seeing as your having problems with them pulling off

Get a long enough m4 bolt/nut to use through the center and suck the two halves together. Remember to include the hub.

Just woke up actually. I drove 16 hours home after pulling a 13 hour last shift and figured I’d earned a 11 hour nap(coma). Gotta sort a few things around the house and should be wrenching in a few hours on a micro rock bouncer. LOL.
