Since we can buy SSD wheels and SSD brake rotor hubs, how about offering some SSD scale lugs to complete the full scale treatment?

They are on the list, just didn't get round to them yet.

Very nice! I like these a lot.

Is that front ring changeable like the others?

I understand. I'd like to see a raw version of your wheels. I think this design would be a perfect candidate to start with.

I like it, I've found that lighter/brighter colored wheels look better and show off the wheels better. Or if wheels are darker color a silver or brighter colored lock ring really makes them pop!

Agreed!

The extra width and backspacing of the Rock Racers contributed to this. My SSD 00006's fit perfectly. For this reason, I was curious as to the increase in backspacing on many wheels.

I run the rock racers wheels with hyraxs on my trx4 without issues using .475 hubs and i have brass portal covers and axle weights installed. That brings my trx4 incl. the ssd hexes to 25cm width.

These are awesome! Very well done SSD. These might be nice for my Delta build.

Does anybody have these mounted up yet? I haven't seen a single set on a rig.

Mine in black. But I have SSD brass wheel weights which block the light coming through the holes in the wheels, so you can't really tell too well how they look.

Thank you! This is why I don't buy black wheels. They get lost in the black of the tire and the shadows especially in photos.

I agree with you on the all black wheels, Jato, although I like all black wheels on white or yellow vehicles, espescially if it's a monochrome paint job. For others, I'm starting to really like black wheels with different colored bead rings to make them pop. Silver stands out the most, of course. I have two sets of black with silver rings and one black with red. And I think I'm going to change one of the silver sets to red or blue.

I think the black Ruggeds will look good with different colored ring. Maybe SSD will one day allow us to order a base wheel with ring color option!

I picked up some black Ruggeds for my TRX 4 Sport kit build. They look great on the recently finished truck. I’ll snap some photos when I get it out in the Wild hopefully this week.

We offer some wheels with ring color options but we have to make a call on what we think is most popular. Offering all wheels with multiple ring color options just is not possible for us.

That is why we are offering colored rings now.

I finally got around to stocking black, silver and orange rings. They will be available to dealers this week. More color options will be added soon (lime green maybe, yellow/gold).

Oh, I understand it's a business decision and that it's impossible to offer and stock all the different options to the dealers. But I am glad to see more choices will be available! I'm a fan of your work and plan on purchasing much more of it.
I hadn't seen the orange rings yet. I haven't seen them on the website. But I'll be on the lookout for those and the yellow/gold.
