| Anyone try the Hobbypark 1.9 crawler tires?
Any one try these? They look like a copy of an Injora that copied the Hyrax. https://www.amazon.ca/Hobbypark-Craw...&rps=1&sr=8-24 |

I wouldn't waste my money. For $15 USD more I'd get a set of the real Proline Hyrax. Tires is the area where you do not want to cheap out to save $15.

They're cloned under various names. The real Hyrax aren't much more expensive (in the US at least) so I'd avoid them.

I bought the Injora version for $19.99 US from Amazon. They're crap. Tread pattern is nice and grippy but the sidewalls are way too hard and the foams are even worse. I ended up throwing them out. I guess 1:10 tires are just like the real things - you get what you pay for.

however I did buy a pair of cheap super swampers from Amazon one time and they do really well I think. I still slap them on one of my trucks from time to time and run them. | |

My son got these for Christmas. Hobby park tires and wheels I mounted them for him and he really likes them. While some may call them junk, they are a huge improvement over the 5 year old Trepador’s that came with the Deadbolt. He has done a little winter crawling and has been impressed so far. |

I got a set of the 2.2 like these. They’re hard but knobby. I run them on my 2wd Stampede with closed cell foams.

I have a set of the Injora Hyraxes too. They're nowhere near as good as real Hyrax, but I'm satisfied that they were worth the $20 I paid. Once they start to wear a bit, the treads start to break down a little bit and grip goes up. They were a huge improvement over the garbage tires that came on my Twin Hammers clone, and the stiffer side wall makes them a good dual purpose climber/basher tire, which perfectly compliments the role of that truck. Here's a video of that truck crawling with those tires: https://youtu.be/uN1_PS57pc8 Last edited by Jim85IROC; 02-13-2020 at 08:12 AM. |

you could probably soften them up by soaking them in wd40 for a bit. I have done it in the past to older tires. They do however wear really quick on pavement not sure what would happen off road.

Worked great for about 4 hours of run time(about 2 weeks), got them in the rocks and I guess too much throttle and one of them shredded to pieces :-( Have a set of Pro-Line BFG KM3's on the way but now I have no RC for a week |
