I'm mostly on dry rock, and for that the Pro-Line Krawlers are fantastic. Even in g8 compound.

As for mud.... I don't do mud.

The curbs around me are around 6-8 inches tall and are square at 90 degree angles.
Why would it be embarrassing? Worried about others watching you?

I look at the curb scenario like so - real trail rigs typically can't climb a 5 to 7 foot tall vertical concrete wall...

A lot of 1/10th crawler/trail rigs will be fine approaching a curb like that slowly from an angle, though!

This stuff isn't 100% accurate to scale, R/C vehicles usually have more articulation than what they are meant to resemble.

Honestly, I would expect other people to be watching me judging by how enthused I was when I first saw a crawler going at it..haha. I hear ya, I can't wait to see how it goes..

I vote for the Super Swamper Bogger...

it's still !.9" wheel but 5.4"tall, lol...

Mounted on my Bronco, sitting at 9400+ feet....

Imo the best all around tire in the Rc world is the Proline Tsl Sx. It gets beat by certain specialized tires, but does everything well.

Awesome picture. A t least you don’t have any carburation issues at 9400+ feet of elevation :lmao

So, I talked with my local shop guy and I'm probably going to be sticking with the 1.9" tires. I'm also going to probably go with the Krawlers with Crawling Innovations Dual Stage Foams. I'm thinking of doing soft foams in the front and medium foams in the rear. What do you guys think?

I’d go with the proline dual stage foams with that size tire myself. They’re great foams and fill the profile of the 4.75” tires well while still allowing plenty of tread conformation. I use CI for basically every other tire though.

Soft front and Medium rear is also where I would start. Post up some pics when you get the rig in your hands.

I'm going to go to the shop later today and see what fits better. Thanks for your input!

Cuz it's also going to be my daily driver..lol j/k. 😁

I'm not going to drive it much on the street but I may start on the street and go over a curb in order to actually be off road. That's just my laziness..haha

I got it last night! Decided to go with the Flat Iron tires instead of the Krawlers because they look super similar but the Flat Irons have more sipes. I also went with the Proline Dual Stage Foams because they had those in stock. The Crawler Innovation Foams would have taken at least a week to get in. I will post some pictures real soon! 😊

Here are some pictures finally, and yes, it got up that rock by itself by climbing the smaller rock first. Also took it through some mud and water and it absolutely dominates in that terrain. Lovin it so far!
