| Custom Wheels!
Just finished making five of these sweet wheels (gotta have a spare). But i used a plasty form liquid that hardens in about 30 min. I just poured it into a 3 inch pvc pipe coupler, then poped it out and lathed it down to the direct diameter along with the beads. I then turned it loose on the CNC machine. I wrote two programs, one for the back and to punch out the holes, and another to dish out the front. Here's some pics of them. Had to use wood filler to fill in the bubbles trapped when the form was poured. Then sanded smooth and painted Decided i like flat black better. It hides the imperfections better And here's them mounted on my scaler. They look great i think! Let me know what you guys think!! |

Suprisingly well actually! The hex isn't very beefed up as you can see. But even with the sticky moabs they haven't snapped. But then again the tires arent glued. |

It looks like a regular version of the RC4WD beadlocks.
