Back in the 90's, we did the narrowing for our 4wd race buggies. 4wd front tires weren't really available, and if they were, they were not what we wanted. We always had to narrow some square fuzzies, or mini pins, Hot Laps, etc... Finally, the tire guys started making them for us. I never once had a glue failure though, or a seam come apart. It is quite nerve racking your first time though, $20-$30 for a pair of tires is a lot when you can so quickly screw them up! LOL

Apparently no one reads threads anymore. I read the whole thread in 5min, if you do it right, they wont fail.
