Default Narrowed Swamp Dawgs

I've always liked tread pattern of the Imex Swamp Dawgs, but like everyone else I also thought they were too wide. Insanerc's narrowed version looked much better, but I didn't like how tiny the small lugs looked. So, I decided to give It a shot and narrow my Swamp Dawgs a different way that would leave the two smaller lugs their original size:

Thanks for the compliments
I cut along the edge of the medium sized lugs like this:

And then I nibbled (?) The rubber between each of the medium lugs along the edge of the smallest lugs:

Crap! that was hard to do on paint.
Then I cut off the bottom part of the medium lugs so they would fit on top of the sidewall.
( I don't wanna draw that.)
Then I just glued the two sides together.
That was just one half of the tire, so I had to repeat the procedure on the other side.
It took me all morning to do one tire and im too lazy to do the rest today!

X2 what every body else said, look 100% better than narrowing the middle.

Those are awesome, I'm glad I saw them, I was planning on doing my first set this week. How wide do they end up? I want to reduce some to 1.9 as well but I want to make sure they are not too wide.

narrowing em like that and then 1.9'ing em would probably look pretty darn good.

Well, DAY-UM! Those are the best yet

It's easy to see the time you spent on them (well spent). Mine only took about an hour each.
