Default 2.2 molanders

what is the best way to mount a set of 2.2 molanders on erickson beadlocks.....do you have to narrow the 40 series foam......i feel like you cant squeeze the tires together to fit on the rim....any help would be appreciated..

You may have to narrow the foams some. Go for small increments at a time, it's far easier to remove more material than to add some back.

Try this - find a top from a rattlecan, the small ones like Tamiya. Use it as a "base" to set your wheel on as you seat the bead. (anything small enough to fit through the bead but will still support the wheel off your worktable w/o touching the tire) So the backside of the tire hangs free in the air and does'nt push back at you. Then for the other side you can push the tire down and seat the second bead a lot easier than just holding it in your hand or on a tabletop...

Yes it is but we call them Molands as there is no "landers" in either of the tire's original names.
