Default Best Standard Wheel For My Rig ?

after about an hour of searching here and ebay i still have had no luck with what type of wheel i should go with. im not getting beadlocks so thats out.

my tlt truck runs tg10 axles with g made wideners. i need a durable wheel that doesnt strip out hexxes. rite now im running imex 2.2 wheels and they seem to hold up fine but i want a new design.

i like the new hpi wheely king wheels but just read the hex area is soft.

any suggestions on your part would be great.

thanks.

Any plastic wheel can strip out hex's. There are little things you can do to help them last longer. Shoe-Goo a Large washer inside the wheel around the Hex will help. I've done a mod. That you grind out the Hex and Bolt in Alumn Hex's.

I've heard RPM's wheels seem to hold up well.

Here is the Link to the Mod I did...

nice mod. i also read one where you just glue a washer on the back to keep the hex from expanding.
