| Best Standard Wheel For My Rig ?
after about an hour of searching here and ebay i still have had no luck with what type of wheel i should go with. im not getting beadlocks so thats out. my tlt truck runs tg10 axles with g made wideners. i need a durable wheel that doesnt strip out hexxes. rite now im running imex 2.2 wheels and they seem to hold up fine but i want a new design. i like the new hpi wheely king wheels but just read the hex area is soft. any suggestions on your part would be great. thanks. |

Any plastic wheel can strip out hex's. There are little things you can do to help them last longer. Shoe-Goo a Large washer inside the wheel around the Hex will help. I've done a mod. That you grind out the Hex and Bolt in Alumn Hex's. I've heard RPM's wheels seem to hold up well. Here is the Link to the Mod I did... Cheap Wheel Hex Fix... |
