This is a little like asking what color underwear you should wear. Play with an ounce or two and see what happens. Better yet, try it without any weight first, and see what happens. Then go from there.

One of my friends is using plastic Air soft BB's. Seems to work pretty well.

You can also try lead shot from a shotgun shell

Lead shot is a good idea I am currently running 8oz of lead wire wrapped around the center of the front wheels and 6oz in the back w/ stock foam trimmed. I have adjusted the weight twice in the wheels so far, but am wondering how many more times I can take a part the bead locks before I completely strip out the bolt holes

i use weight tape from any tire shop! just stop by and ask them for a few sticks, the may charge you a couple bucks but its worth it. it keeps the weight even and you dont have that anoying rattle!

I like to run 10oz to 13oz per Tires. Front and Rear. A Balanced Rig will preform better over all. The More weight you can get down Low with Lower you COG. Just make sure you have enough motor/ Gearing and the axles can handle it. I have a set of 2.2 wheels and tires that weigh 1lbs each. Best working tires I've used to date. Oh and it was the weigh nothing AirSoft BB's...

I run airsoft as well, but I can only get them 70% full then they start to run out. How are you guys getting them 95% full?

I do that, but with narrowed wheels, they spill over top of the wheel before filliing the tire completely. I put the wheel onto of a spray paint cap and push the tire down, but I'm only getting a 75-80% fill. I want more in there for sidehilling.

OK, I talked to a guy that fills his tires 95% with the Air Soft BB's. He says mount the tires on the rim, get the smallest funnel you can find, cut a small slit in the tire between tread lugs, insert the funnel and pour the BB's in till full. When you have the tire full melt the rubber back together with a soldiering iron, and apply CA glue over the slit.
"Sounds like it would work, I don't really wanna cut my tires though".

I glue one side on the Wheel First. Then just start filling the Tire up with AirSoft BB's. When you can't get anymore in. Set the other Bead on the Tire. NO NOT GLUE IT YET. Weigh the Tire.. If you need more BB's in there. Just peel 1/4 of the Tires Bead back. I use a Shot glass to fill the tire up. Just keep stuffing them in there. It takes some time, but it's not that hard to figure out. Once you've dont it a few times.

I fill the tire up with one bead on, when it gets hard to fill I stick the tire down into the bb's and cover the top of the tire and start stuffing them in till its as firm as I want.

Kamikaze's idea might be better for me since I'm running beadlocks. Thanks for the info from everybody!
