Default M2K M3 thin bead issue

Anyone run into this issue? one side had a decently thick bead but the other side is extremely thin. It is liyerally half the thickness of a normal bead. The thin side won't stay in the beadlock, just pulls out. Guess I won't be sporting M3 M2K's for the Nat's.:-(

Thick (normal):

Thin:

I've solved this problem by getting some picture hanging wire. You can get it at Home Depot. You want the kind that looks like clear, fat fising line. Not the standard metal cable type.

Cut the line the diameter of the wheel and place it in the groove on the wheel. Then place the rubber bead on top of the line. After that comes the beadlock ring on top to snug it all down. If needed two layers of line can be used to make it extra snug.

Thanks CRF450R, I'll try to get some if time permits.

Ben, I know, I know. Buy some better beadlocks. These were free and don't have tires on them. Considering they are the very first RC4WD beadlocks, they have never let me down. Too lazy to switch them with the other wheels I have anyhow.

It still needs to be addressed though. Hard to think that a company like Proline would purposely make a tire like this. I'll get ahold of them when I can. I'm sure it's something that got overlooked. Chit happens!
