Use some acetone (fingernail polish remover), should come right off though it may need to soak a while. The only thing i would worry about is if they are chrome plated, it may damage or remove the chrome.

X3 on the Acetone.

I used acetone over the weekend to dismount and clean up 13 tires. I used a small metal dish that is just a small diameter bigger than the tire. The dish was only 1 inch deep. I sat outside and just took my time. I only soaked one side at a time. I was more concerned with the tires. I did not care about the rims.

By soaking one side of the rim & tire at a time, I actually saved some of the foams. If you completely immerse the tire, it will go much faster, but the foam will be completely ruined. The small metal dish is actually a mechanics dish that has a large magnet on the bottom to hold bolts when working on a car.

I only filled the dish once, as to not waste the acetone. I also had a sharp Xacto knife to cut anything that was too stubborn. I spent some time doing it, but I did do 13 tires at one sitting. Also, out of the 13, only one ripped a small section of a bead. The tires are now nice & clean and ready to be mounted. They have no junk foam, left over glue and anything to keep them from making a clean, tight bead against the next rim they will be installed on.

I am thinking the next rims will be bead locks though.
