Default Pics of narrowed beadlocks

Grab a backside of the beadlocks and cut it where the screwholes end:

Using a spare set of faceplates, remove just the "face" portion:

With 8 M3x40 screws, put the modified pieces together. You'll want to drill the holes to 3MM or 1/8, whichever you have handy:

Slide all the pieces together to ensure that your cuts are clean and line up well:

Another view, from the rear which shows the hollowed-out faceplate:

You'll need to narrow the bead rings by the same amount that you removed from what is now the center of the wheel (formerly the backside). You'll need to remove material from both sides:

Be sure to keep all of your cuts clean and even. I did all of mine with a dremel cut-off wheel chucked into my drill press. Use the adjustable table to set the hieght and do all of your cuts in groups for repeatability and matching wheels.

4X, thanx! This way is a lot of cutting, but it works great! The wheels are super strong because the bolts go entirely thru all parts of the wheels. Best part is you can tune the width. If you screw them together with no middle at all, the beads of the tires will probably touch eachother! Don't know if that would work well or not, but it's nice to know you can try it! How did you do yours? I'd like to see.
