Default E-Maxx wheel narrowing

Would it help any with the stock tires? I plan on experimenting with some cutting on the tires and since I need to redo the crappy glue job I did anyway.

you can try with the stock tires as a experiment so if you get some kongs you don't screw them up

I'm not paying the money for kongs. I'm a broke 14 year old with no job and a $10 a week allowance.
