Default Best Tool/metal To Use

i need to start making some custom parts and i looked at a dremel

Firstly what will be the best metal - i ent looking at wieght as it will just be a few custom parts like servo mounts

but what is the best tool to use is it a dremel or good out fashion saw
also should i buy a bender or just use a vice and rubber mallet

i kno there might be threads already but this will be like all of those threads in one

I would suggest aluminium. Light, strong and for something as small as RC crawler parts, you can probably get scrap sheet for nothing from your local metal yards. If you want to shape the aluminium (which you do) them some good tools to have would be a hacksaw and a small selection of files, or a dremel as you mentioned and a few different burrs.
