Default Steering bind fix AX10 BTA

Had a problem yesterday, my steering was binding up, and seemed to tighten after loosening the rod end. I am using the CKRC BTA kit and it works well but you have to leave it loose to allow it to pivot. This is my fix that allows me to tighten it down and it pivots on the brass. I had some brass hub bushings from a Berg build lying around and they were the right thickness, along with an 11/32 drill bit. This worked great no more bind and it is rebuildable, I am not sure about the AX bushings for hieght.

the full link shot after fix.

I just use some washers and lock nuts. I tighten the lock nuts down then back off a touch. Leaves them loose enough that it doesn't bind and it doesn't loosen up either. It's been working pretty good so far.

I had the same problem with mine. I ended up doing the same thing. But instead of a bushing I did to my TLT knuckles and used a bearing. Here is the link to the TLT bearing thread

But I used a flanged bearing
