Default Exo

I am working on a exo cage for my hilux but I need to be able to take the cage off if needed. I dont care if it comes off the body but I at least need to be able to take the body and exo off the chassis. What are the methods of attaching tubing (1/4) to the body or chassis in a way it can be removed? I didnt know if the brakeline is thick enough to tap into and it not twist it off or not...

There are a few ways to skin this cat. Depending on what chassis and how it lines up. But you can take some 4-40 or 3mm all thread or a long bolt and braze it inside the tube, with a washer brazed on the tube as the backstop on the chassis.....put up some pictures.

You could just run a 6/32 tap into 3/16 brake line. That's how I made my
body mounts, Works like a charm

Im running 1/4 brakeline and even a 10 slips in the tube without catching so it would have to be a 12 which they only make in course thread for wood. I hadnt thought of brazing a bolt in the tube, I may do that with 6-32s
