Default Brazing aluminum????

Is brazing aluminum more difficult than steel???

I like the idea of an aluminum tube/rod chassis.

There's gotta be a reason nobody does this, any info would be appreciated.

Yes it's a lot harder brazing aluminum.
It also is very weak. I don't think an aluminum tuber would hold up.

I tig welded an aluminum tuber a while back. It looked cool, but the softer alloy just won't hold up well. I'm not sure about brazing, I wasn't even aware that aluminum could be brazed :? .

I used it to repair a a/c line in my Dad's suburban.
Like I said above it's really weak stuff.
