| Brazing aluminum????
Is brazing aluminum more difficult than steel??? I like the idea of an aluminum tube/rod chassis. There's gotta be a reason nobody does this, any info would be appreciated. |

Yes it's a lot harder brazing aluminum. It also is very weak. I don't think an aluminum tuber would hold up. |

| I tig welded an aluminum tuber a while back. It looked cool, but the softer alloy just won't hold up well. I'm not sure about brazing, I wasn't even aware that aluminum could be brazed :? . -WRM |
