Thumbs up New Product: Overdose Racing... The Car Stand

I saw this product at IHobby the other weekend.

It is called simply The Car Stand from Overdose Racing.

It is a very practical and functional design. Steel construction, 5 adjustable heights from 1/2" folded flat to 9" high.

I weigh almost 200lbs and I stood on this thing in its highest position and it never budged. Plus, every one of my R/C's fits on it with no problem.

Check this thing out, the guys from Overdose and a great a couple of guys, feel free to contact them for yours.

You also check out a video of the stand on UStream by RCDriver.

Weird, it's the same thing and 1/3 the price...

I guess because it's says racing it should cost more..?

Thanks for the link Weck.

Hahaha! FAIL!

Was it just me or did that website not even show a car on the stand?

The CAR STAND is patented for Overdose Racing. The paint is Nitro proof, and the top surface holds your vehicles in a horizontal plane. Do be fooled my similar products... the guitar foot rest sits at an angle to rest your foot comfortably.
Actually they don't rest at an angle...the design is exactly the same. the "nitro proof" paint may be the only difference. if that is the case then it wouldn't matter for electric crawlers....but to each their own...

Are you sure? I know the picture is an isometric view, but it looks pretty flat to me.

Saw this little goody at IHobby as well and thought it looked familiar. When I got home I stopped into my local music store and they sold me one for 6.00 plus MN sales tax. It holds my cars perfectly level and seeing that I drive strictly electric the nitro proof paint is of no concern to me. In fact both the one I fondled at Ihobby and the one I bought both seem to have black powder coating on them. Good idea just not a good idea to try and pull the wool over anyones eyes. Yes the internet is a huge ocean of people but you have to remember that your net is only so big.
