dude's.... I'm looking for more info on this, and theres a bunch of conflicting statements that theres D batts in there, that it doesn't work, etc.
I'll report back if/when I find out for sure

ha ha, that's a funny vid!

each AA battery is 14mm diameter x 50mm length, so arranged in a 4x4x2 configuration, you would have a battery that is 56mm x 56mm x 100mm, or 2.204" x 2.204" x 3.94", where as a standard lantern battery is 68.2mm x 68.2mm x 115mm.

It would fit, but, most "lantern" batteries have 4 "F" sized cells in them. Maybe that's where they got the idea from.

Funny vid, there is 1 battery hack that is real... 9v battery's you know the one you stick to your tongue, have 6 AAAA batteries in them(yes 4As) in a pinch you can fit them in your mp3 player/camera may need a little piece of the battery casing to act as a little shim.
