I like Jato ends and 8-32 all-thread, with a piece of 1/4" stainless tube. The Jato ends have a longer section for the all-thread to screw into, and the hole size is perfect for 8-32....So are the revo's though....you can tap it, or just screw it in. You can adjust your link lengths, and run the truck before you cut your stainless tube.

I agree on the Jato ends. All thread with a slip on cover tube is really the only easy way to do it unless you have a lathe. Solid tapped aluminum is the strongest way to go but I have never seen any thick wall tube that you could just tap and use.

All thread and brake line is the easiest to get a hold of and if it gets messed up, you can make one pretty quickly.

BTW..6/32 works well with the std. Traxxas rod ends, sleeve it with 1/4" brake line.

If you can find entire Traxxas links that work, thats the way to go. I have a WK crawler with a WB of 14" - used T-Maxx links.

i use the all thread and brake line for mines as well. simple, easy to make, and available. You can get the all thread from home improvement stores for a little less than $3,and brake line for not that much more.
