Default Hobart Flux Coated Brazing Rod & MAPP Torch????

Has anyone tried brazing brake line or solid rod with a MAPP Gas torch using Hobart Flux Coated Brazing Rod, 3/32 in. X 18 in.???? I know all about the silver solder and flux, just curious if this will work? It is much easier to get in my local area.

Thanks for any insight.

The brazing rod will work, but it doesn't flow as well as silver solder and melts at a higher temp.

Brazing rod is cheaper & easier to get, but harder to work with.

I started off with brazing rods because I couldn't find silver solder. Then I tried silv and never went back to the brass rods.

I kind of thought i might be more difficult but glad to know it works as a last resort, thanks for the response!!
