| Torch question
Are there any mapp gas torches that have a long hose to connect to the bottle and a better type of tip/nozzle. Ive seen types plumbers use that make a loud whistling noise on a huge bottle with 15 feet of hose. Not sure what gas there using but the torch tip sucks in alot of air. Anything like this that will fit the little bottles so I dont have to hold the bottle while working. The only thing close that I have is a mini oxygen acetylene combo from home depot but even then the hose is pretty short, and it gets expensive to keep replacing the oxygen tank, since I think the valve leaks on the controls I have to keep the tanks off when not in use.

cool, saw some prices online $60. Pretty steep. Maybe if there is a non starter type that might keep the cost down.

I use this torch. Not a cheap setup, but I get great results from it. Order from: McMaster |

Yeah I know it is pretty expensive, but if you are gonna use it a lot, it is well worth it. I almost walked out of the store without it but I'm glad I bought it, it's a pretty sweet setup.

No it's not. I have both, the Harbor Freight one is the one I originally purchased, it is garbage. If your going to spend the money, spend it right. The one from McMaster Carr is 20x better. Well worth the extra $$$ in my book.
