Default cleaning your tools

Post up how you clean your tools after use.

I have a shop vac that gets all the loose dust and bits from my mill and bandsaw.

Any suggestions on how to remove metal bits from the grease covered bed on the mill? I use lithium grease on the ways. I was thinking of dipping a cheap paint brush in a solvent and cleaning the chips off, then relubing. Anybody have any suggestions?

instead of cleaning the mill, you can put some flexible material over it and KEEP it clean. vacum and airhose works pretty good and also the broom on the floor

might want to look into covers for the mill, if not get a hand broom. make sure its the straw kind, eaiser to get the chips out.

but as for files, drills and stuff, shop vac and towels get the most of what I have to clean up.
