Default Carry Bag Opinions

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I ordered a MERV (1/16 Revo). I already have a Mini Crawler as well as a Micro Crawler. I want to get a nice carry back to use for when I travel, which I do a good bit for work. I would like something I could use to carry my MERV or my Mini Crawler, depending on where I am headed. Of course I want to be able to put my charger, radio and other accessories as well. I was looking at the bags on THETOYZ website as well as Wingtotes and such. Just wondering if anyone has used one that works well or even ones that I should avoid.

Thanks for the opinions!!!

Go to a cheap luggage place and look for a nice size duffle bag that will fit your rc perfectly. Take cardboard box (I use my scx10 because it fit my big duffle perfectly) and fiberglass it with epoxy to keep it in shape and waterproof. Nice and cheap and save your money for more rc parts.

Duffle bag- $0, I got it from brother
Cardboard box- $0, comes with scx10
Fiberglass kit- about $10, from pepboys

I got one of the Wingtote bags designed for the Tamiya tanks, there on sale for $35 with free shipping still I believe (snatched mine off ebay for $25 free shipping). It's huge very strong and well worth the money. Holds my 2.2 crawler, a big box of parts, radio in one end and my charger and a bottle of simple green in the other.

I use the Wingtote Tank Bag. The bag is super strong and holds 2 2.2 crawlers, M11 radio, and my charger. I can't say enough good things about this bag. They are well worth the money.

I have several duffel bags hanging around here that I never use so I measured the inside of one of those, went to Walmart's storage bin section and found a plastic bin that would fit, and then cut the sides down to the correct height. The bin cost four bucks and change.

I have a total of four of them, two large and two small. I think I'm going to convert the other large one to a crawler tote too. It works great with the opening the way it is.

I've seen the Wingtote Tank Bag a couple of times now. INDIANA MUDCAT is right, it's a great bag. I'm picking mine up on Friday.

It's was made for tanks, but it's perfect for Crawlers!

I'm thinking of getting another motocross gear bag...... it should hold the truck(s) in the main compartment and the side pockets for boots and helmet will hold the radios and all the other stuff.

I currently use a moose rack pack for quads i just purchased a hockey back pack it will hold two crawlers perfect size they sit flat and you can stack three in the bag if needed has a spot on each side where the skates would go and the radio fits perfect and the good thing is we have to walk a spell to get to the crawl spot strap it on your back and go will get some pics tonight if i have time and post them here.

I got one of the wingtote tank bags a few weeks ago for like $35 to my door. Hands down the BEST $35 I've spent towards crawling. Great quality bag and holds my 2.2 and 1.9, room for two radios on the side pockets and room for the tray organizers I get from Home Depot. Get the wingtote and dont look back.
