| where to get alum.
I just moved to Long Island and I am having a hard time finding a place that will sell me some smaller pieces of alum. sheet. like a 1/4" thick to make frame rails out of. Where are u guys getting your alum. from?

If you can't find anything locally, you can check out Online Metals. I've ordered from them a few times.

try any recycling yards i always get mine from there and really cheap.

Try fastenal or any fastener store I buy rods at fastenal and also order screws from em, it's way cheaper then hobby shops |

yea I buy all my screws from them too, but I need sheet alum. now.
