Default Strongest soldering wire?

I did a search but came up empty. I searched wire, solder wire, solder, etc.

What is the strongest solder wire one can buy at radio shack or home depot stores.

I am building bumper with brass and soldering iron.
thanks!

probably the one with the most silver content, I did that to a bumper when I first started brazing and it bent and broke. if its just for decoration it should be good.

Solder will sheer without much prompting. Some can be used for this kind of work, but keep that in mind.

Some of the plumbing solders at Home Depot can hold up pretty well.. I think it is "Oatey Safe-flo silver". You will need a hot iron or propane torch to work with it though. From Radio Shack, I've always liked the flow of rosin core (lead) over silver, but that is for electrical work. You are probably better off with the Home Depot stuff for structural pieces.

go to a refrigeration place that sells a/c equipment and ask for STAY-BRITE ,they use that stuff to solder line sets for A/C units in residential houses..
