Default Soldering Iron

I bought an adjustable 25-60 watt ECG solder iron. Temp rated at 240c to 460c. Will that be good enough or should I get better one, like a weller or something else. The ECG only cost me 24$ and I got it at rp electronics which just sell solder irons and other electronic items to build other electric stuff. Plus the sales person said it should be a good one for rc electronics.
