Looks just like one of the ones I use for 3/16" and 1/4" should work fine

I have that one for my 1/4", and 3/16" tube it works fine, but the radius is kinda big. If you want smaller bends you have to fab something up in a vise. There are a couple of examples on this site.

If you have a vice and only want to create shallow bends, then three bolts (two on one side and one on the other side in the centre of those two) will bend stuff pretty easily. I've been bending 8mm dia steel rod for a bta before I decided to use some ali plate.

Thats a typical bender tool for instrument fitters in factories. Good quality ones should bend most solid aluminium rods of 1/4" (6mm) and tube around 5/16" (8mm). |
